Transitioning is the time between one country and the next.
I am happy to say, after unforeseen delays, our visas have finally been approved by the Israeli Ministry of Interior. We are scheduled to depart August 9.
A strange thing happened when we found out about our official acceptance into the country.
We were in Chicago for Missionary Personnel training when the news came. As I passed the Global Missions Director, she said, “I hear your visas are approved. I bet you are happy?”
Here’s the weird part… I burst into tears. Tears streamed continuously.
Where did that come from?
I think it comes from the reality that we are officially going, perhaps a sense of relief.
