Our “New” Typical Day

7:00 a.m. Wake, splash water on face, eat fast, get coffee (if we hadn’t sold the grinder!)

8:00  Roofers coming to patch roof (preparing for renters)

8:30 Continue to load car for trip to the storage unit

8:45 Car was stalling last night, Ben runs to auto parts store, fixes car

9:00 Car loaded, head to storage unit

9:30 Put kids on KhanAcademy.com for math (can’t fall behind this summer)

10:00 Keep packing

10:30 Write resume for dog (he still doesn’t have a new home)

11:00 Go for 45 min. run together

11:50 Yoga stretches and a very quick meditation

12:00 p.m. Shower

12:30 Lunch

1:30 Ben heads to work in our one car (the minivan transmission went out two weeks ago)

1:30- 1:45 Answer a few emails

1:50 Walk to my mom’s house to borrow her car

2:00 – 4:00 Run errands: Post office to return faulty laptop, Dog needs bath & nails trimmed, Returns at Target, Grocery for my mom and us

4:30 – 5:30 Unload groceries, return car to mom, walk home

6:00 Cook dinner while listening to Dr. Ralph Watkins’ video on Palestine

6:30  Everett has to read for 10 minutes a day (the disdain of a dyslexic child)

7:00  Neighbor stops by to pick up furniture she purchased at our garage sale last weekend

8:00 Check Social Media to see if any interest in the dog

8:30 Put more stuff in boxes

10:00 Ben home from work. Talk about what needs to be done tomorrow…. We’ll take more stuff to storage?
