I washed and dried the IPod! Yep, I apparently left it in my pants pocket and it went through a cycle of laundry.
Our trips in the car are void of my daily Godcasts, (Charles Stanley, Andy Stanley, Joyce Myer), our growing collection of cool kids’ music (one of our favorites is “Slugs, Bugs and Lullabies:http://christianmusic.suite101.com/article.cfm/slugs_bugs_and_lullabies_review) and my Pilmsleur Spanish III Listen and Speak series. The kids were learning quite a bit of Spanish listening to these lessons with me in the car.
Before the IPod died, the kids and I were in the grocery and Sweet Pea said, “Mommy, leccione cuatro!” She had no idea what she was saying, just repeating what she had heard over, and over, and over again in the car. Actually, I am well past lesson four, so, I’m not sure why that lesson stuck with her.
Well, in this economy I feel really wasteful buying another one, so I’m not sure where I’ll do my studying now.
